When my web page at joeblowracing.chainreactionweb.com is scrolled all the way to the bottom the 'auto scroll' feature will only scroll up. Also, in order for the mouse wheel to work when 'auto scroll' is disabled the web page has to be either all the way up or all the way down for the mouse wheel to scroll up or down, respectively. The layer doesn't recognize that the mouse is hovering. Is there information or a fix I need to be made aware of? Let me know if you need anymore details; however, the web page is up and the problem is easily duplicated.

Thanks for your help in advance. <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Hello Rodney,

1) What would you expect the scroller to do when it is scrolled all the way down. As I see it, it has nowhere to go but up.

2) Since autoscrolling is "on" now, I can't check your second issue.

Regards,

I think you misunderstood my question. If you review the webpage you will see what I am talking about. Basically...if the BROWSER scroll bar is moved all the way to the bottom then the scroll genie 'auto scroll' will only scroll up when the mouse hovers the layer...even when your at the top of the layer content.

Thanks for your quick reply! <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Ah yes, I see what you mean now.

I will need to look a bit further into this issue to be able to say something useful about this.
You'll hear from me.

I've decided against using the auto scroll feature. However, I would still like to understand how to solve the mouse wheel conflict. Bascially, the layer will not scroll without the BROWSER scroll bar being all the way at the top or bottom. You can see this problem at : joeblowracing.chainreactionweb.com
